WHAT WE BELIEVE
In the essentials, we have unity.
In the non-essentials, we have liberty.
In all our beliefs, we show love.
In the non-essentials, we have liberty.
In all our beliefs, we show love.
Our Vision
We are committed to the grace of God, growth in Christ, giving of ourselves, and going to the people of our community so they are impacted by the love of Jesus.
core values
GRACE
Our focus is on life change, redemption and baptisms and helping people start out or start over.
GROW
We are called to become disciples of Jesus Christ so that we can show the world who God is, what God cares about, and who God cares about. We encourage and help each other in becoming more like Jesus through Sunday worship, Small Groups, Lifetrack, and our Serve Team.
GIVING
Being a part of the community calls us to be good stewards of the resources that have been entrusted to us. We are committed to giving our time, talent and treasure
GOING
We believe that the local church is the hope of the world, and we are committed to showing the love of Jesus to our local community and beyond.
core values
TO DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS
God desires for us to experience truth, grace, love and mercy as we live life together – sharing hurts, celebrating joys, and facing struggles on our lifelong journey with God. This authenticity is born out of honesty, persistence and intentionality. Through authentic relationships with each other we can grow in our faith, experience hope, and be unleashed into God’s kingdom revolution. Therefore, we encourage everyone to become a part of a Small Group at Church on the Hill.
TO GROW SPIRITUALLY
We are called to become disciples of Jesus Christ so that we can show the world who God is, what God cares about, and who God cares about. As such, we encourage and help each other in becoming more like Jesus through Sunday worship, Small Groups, Lifetrack, and our Serve Team.
TO REACH OUT
We are called to be salt and light to the world. The purpose of salt is to prevent things from becoming rotten, to enhance flavor, and to make us thirsty for something – God; and the purpose of light is to point us to something – God. Salt left in the saltshaker and light that is hidden is useless. Thus, as a community of faith, we strive to allow God to “shake” us into our communities and “light up” the world on a daily basis by developing relationships with our co-workers and neighbors and by playing our role God’s story through various acts of service.
TO HAVE FUN
Enough said!
