The rubados

"We both grew up in McMinnville and have been part of the Church on the Hill family for many years now. We feel so blessed to have COTH as our sending church, and for the support of the staff and congregation. We serve with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Cascade, Idaho. Our first role here was to run a ministry called Mission Adventures. This was a summer missions training and outreach program for youth groups. However, we have now stepped into leadership of the YWAM base here. As members of the Leadership Team, we oversee the running of all the different ministries and staff here.
Our focus at YWAM Idaho is to send short term teams and long term workers to the unreached areas of the world; the places where 2% or less of the population do not know Jesus. We are working to mobilize missionaries to these places so that all nations, all tribes, all tongues will worship the name of Jesus.

2024 COSTA RICA FAMILY MISSION TRIP
We believe missions contributes to our faith journeys through service, generosity, purpose, calling and community. This past July, our church is partnered with Encuentro Missions to send a team of 30 individuals from our church to serve communities in Costa Rica.
WHat did our team do?
vbs camps
The local church had a deep desire to minister to their community. One way we helped fulfill that desire is by partnering with them to host VBS and sports camps. Through the resources our teams provided, we were able to evangelize not only to the children of the community but to the adults as well.
construction
It all begins with a need. Churches in need. We have brought new life to churches with a fresh coat of paint. We have restored churches with a new ceiling. We have planted churches with a new building and much more. Whatever the need, our teams will worked to get it completed.
