alpha

Do you have big questions about Christianity? About God? Stop by Alpha!

Alpha is a  safe space for people from all backgrounds and ages to share a meal together and talk about life, faith, and God. Together, we explore any questions you may have relating to God, Christianity, and life in a roundtable discussion.

Alpha meets at the church in Room 118  at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, and runs for 10 weeks at a time, starting in September and February. We invite you to bring your questions and participate in some great discussion!

bible basics

Bible Basics is a class designed to help you build a Bible-based foundation for your faith. Using a new "Starting Place" study Bible you'll receive, you'll learn essential Bible-reading and study skills to help you connect with God, become more like Jesus, deepen your understanding of key Bible ideas, and find a faith community to grow with--all in a lively, activity-focused class.

This group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. for 8 weeks starting in September, February, and April.

We want to help you find a community that will support you, walk with you, and love on you as you discover more about God and what He has in store for you.

membership class

For many who regularly attend, their next step is making a decision to establish themselves in a church home.
Membership classes will include:

  • Our Mission/Vision at Church on the Hill
  • The history of Church on the Hill
  • What the beliefs of the Nazarene Church are
  • Next steps you can take on your journey with Christ

Our next Membership Class will take place on June 28th after the 10:45 service, in Room 220.
