WELCOME TO CHURCH ON THE HILL!

HERE AT CHURCH ON THE HILL, WE ARE  ALL ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE ...

GROW & GO

WHAT WE BELIEVE

In the essentials, we have unity.
In the non-essentials, we have liberty.
In all our beliefs, we show love.

OUR VISION

Our vision at Church on the Hill is to help people:
Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose and Play a Role in God’s Story.
This vision, along with our CORE VALUES, dictate how we play our role in God’s story individually and as a community of faith.

WHAT TO EXPECT

START HERE!

Lifetrack is a four-step guide that helps you discover your redemptive purpose and live the life God created for you. You will learn more about who we are as a church and who God has created you to be.

Lifetrack meets one Sunday a month at 12:15 PM in Room 112.  Lunch and childcare provided.

STEP ONE: FOLLOW

STEP TWO: FIND FREEDOM

STEP THREE: DISCOVER PURPOSE

STEP FOUR: PLAY A ROLE

Learn the spiritual journey that God has for each of us so that we can FOLLOW God effectively, and learn how Church on the Hill will help us do so.  Step One happens the first Sunday of the month.
Learn how to  CONNECT with God in a deeper way and how joining a Small Group will help us find freedom.  Step Two happens the second Sunday of the month.
DISCOVER our purpose as God’s people and how we are created to bring God’s healing and restoration to this world. We will talk through some fun assessments and see how they indicate our purpose in life and our best fit in ministry. Step Three happens the third Sunday of the month.
We help bring together all that was discovered in Step Three and connect it with the right Serve Team opportunity at Church on the Hill so that  you can PLAY YOUR ROLE in God’s story. Step Four happens the fourth Sunday of the month.

OUR MINISTRIES

ADULT  MINISTRY

The call of a Christ follower requires that we die to self, to submit to the work of the Spirit, and to be unleashed to be used by God to play our role in His radical story of restoration. We at Church on the Hill are committed to challenging you, equipping you, and cheering you on as you walk out your powerful testimony and help others do the same.

YOUNG  ADULT  MINISTRY

KINGDOM MINDED  is a young adult seeking to further the Kingdom, build community, foster spiritual growth and walk with other young adults. Each Wednesday from 8:30-10 p.m. in Room 112, they enjoy a night of worship, time in the Word and fellowship.

They also host multiple fellowship nights (game nights, movie nights, events, etc) and worships nights each month! This is a great opportunity for young adults to get to know each other and build community. To get connected, contact Isaac Kearns at ikearns@hillchurch.com.

HIGHPOINT  YOUTH  MINISTRY

Highpoint is designed to become a community of middle school and high school students who live and love like Jesus and invite others into a life of belonging with Christ. We believe when students find a place of acceptance, they begin to move forward in discovering who Jesus is and what the life Jesus created them to live looks like.

KIDS  MINISTRY

We believe kids are important to God and are some of the most vital members of any faith community. When a child decides to follow Jesus, they don’t receive Holy Spirit, Jr. — they receive the Holy Spirit, who empowers them to live for God and love others. Through our ministries, kids have the opportunity to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Play a Role in God’s story by learning the story of the Bible, worshiping together, and having fun!

MINISTERIO LATINO

LATINO MINISTRY

Durante los meses de mayo y junio tenemos Grupos de Conexión en diferentes casas en los cuales estamos estudiando el libro "El Sendero en la Gracia", teniendo tiempos de oración, y conviviendo en compañerismo.

During the months of May and June we have Connection Groups in different houses in which we are studying the book "El Sendero en la Gracia", having times of prayer, and living in fellowship.

small groups

We believe true life change happens best in the context of real relationships, which are best developed in Small Groups.  Being a Christian means being a part of the Body of Christ. We believe that Small Groups are the model by which God intended His people to accomplish His good works on earth through.

Our Small Groups typically meet weekly or biweekly  in places all around our community and provide a place to connect, study God's Word, develop Spiritual Practices together, and discuss the issues and challenges of life. Regardless of your age, interest, or location, we want to help you find a group  for you. Small Groups are also where we pray, care for one another, and are missed if we don’t show up!

breakthrough groups

Breakthrough groups can take a variety of shapes, from helping you through a painful divorce, gaining victory and freedom over the broken areas in our life that plague most of us to come degree, or overcoming the pain of grief or loss. Breakthrough groups meet weekly for several months or through the year; this provides the ongoing encouragement and support that may be necessary in the journey to victory and freedom.
