About
What we believe
In the essentials, we have unity.
In the non-essentials, we have liberty.
In all our beliefs, we show love.
Our Vision
Our vision at Church on the Hill is to help people:
Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose and Play a Role in God’s Story.
This vision, along with our CORE VALUES, dictate how we play our role in God’s story individually and as a community of faith.
“A compassionate, caring family who puts others needs first. A PRAY FIRST church, so dedicated that they meet weekly to pray over every seat before Sunday’s service. The worship is as powerful as the message that follows. New comers are welcomed with opened arms.”
– Christy T.
Lifetrack is a four-step guide that helps you discover your redemptive purpose and live the life God created for you. You will learn more about who we are as a church and who God has created you to be.
Lifetrack meets Sundays at 12:15 PM. Lunch and childcare provided.

Step one: follow
Learn the spiritual journey that God has for each of us so that we can FOLLOW God effectively, and learn how Church on the Hill will help us do so. Step One happens the first Sunday of the month.

Step two: Connect
Learn how to CONNECT with God in a deeper way and how joining a Small Group will help us find freedom. Step Two happens the second Sunday of the month.

Step three: discover
DISCOVER our purpose as God’s people and how we are created to bring God’s healing and restoration to this world. We will talk through some fun assessments and see how they indicate our purpose in life and our best fit in ministry. Step Three happens the third Sunday of the month.

Step four: serve

OUR WHY
People who have lost their way in life matter to God, and, so, these people – our sons, daughters, dads, moms, friends, co-workers, – matter to us.
Luke 19:10; 1 Timothy 2:1-4
God wants to free us from all of the strongholds of the evil one, and, so, we want to help people experience and live in God’s freedom.
Galatians 5:1; Exodus 6:6; John 8:36
God has handcrafted each one of us to play a role in God’s story of bringing people back into right relationship with God.
Ephesians 2:10
God commands us to make disciples of Jesus, who make disciples of Jesus, who make disciples of Jesus, which ultimately makes this world a more godly place.
Matthew 28:18-20
CORE VALUES
TO DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS
God desires for us to experience truth, grace, love and mercy as we live life together – sharing hurts, celebrating joys, and facing struggles on our lifelong journey with God. This authenticity is born out of honesty, persistence and intentionality. Through authentic relationships with each other we can grow in our faith, experience hope, and be unleashed into God’s kingdom revolution. Therefore, we encourage everyone to become a part of a Small Group at Church on the Hill.
TO GROW SPIRITUALLY
We are called to become disciples of Jesus Christ so that we can show the world who God is, what God cares about, and who God cares about. As such, we encourage and help each other in becoming more like Jesus through Sunday worship, Small Groups, Lifetrack, and our Serve Team.
TO REACH OUT
We are called to be salt and light to the world. The purpose of salt is to prevent things from becoming rotten, to enhance flavor, and to make us thirsty for something – God; and the purpose of light is to point us to something – God. Salt left in the saltshaker and light that is hidden is useless. Thus, as a community of faith, we strive to allow God to “shake” us into our communities and “light up” the world on a daily basis by developing relationships with our co-workers and neighbors and by playing our role God’s story through various acts of service.
TO HAVE FUN
Enough said!
