GUESTS

Here at Church on the Hill we love Senior Adults and we want to do everything we can to introduce seniors to the wonderful fellowship we share together in Jesus Christ.  Remember, guests are always welcome and encouraged!

WORSHIP

There are a number of worship opportunities available, with three worship services every Sunday morning.  "The Early" service at 8:00 a.m., which is a more blended service geared to those with a church background.  Then at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. we have our Celebration Services, which are contemporary and upbeat.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION

All of us, no matter what our age, have the need to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide numerous opportunities for spiritual growth, through our ABC (Adult Bible Classes) on Sunday mornings and our 2:42 small groups that meet throughout the week. Many of these opportunities are geared to our senior adult. To see the current scheduling of groups and classes send an email to Tracie.

OUTREACH
We cannot be all that God wants us to be without reaching out to touch the lives of others. One way we do this is through our VIPS (Volunteers In Pastoral Service). These volunteer servants visit our shut-ins and also provide ministry to those in the hospital, or those involved in some particular crisis. Hopefully we will be expanding the ministry of this outreach team. From time to time we are also involved in providing worship services for our local care facilities.

FELLOWSHIP

Seniors love to get together for fellowship. And we love to provide opportunities for them to do just that. We try to plan an outing of some kind once a month. Our senior adults have experienced things like: The Jet Boats on the Rogue River, the Mount Hood Excursion Train, a lunch cruise on the Willamette, a trip to a Mariners’ game, a tour of the Boeing Factory, a RV campout, and many more fun things. We always have a good time, and the fellowship is great! You’ll not find a greater group to fellowship with then the senior adults at the Church on the Hill.

AS YOU CAN SEE...

There are many ways and many places for YOU to be involved in the ministry here at the Church on the Hill for Senior Adults. It is your chance to experience the love of God in a new and fresh way, and to share that love with those around you. I guarantee, it will enrich your life!
